Movelie
Movelie is a mobile app dedicated to women that aims to reduce barriers to physical exercise, especially relating to lack of motivation and intimidation, by building a supportive community that promotes the benefits of all kinds of movement for physical and mental health.
Through friends and social connections and a focus on enjoyment, we can make it easier, more inclusive and accessible for more women to remain physically active in a way they can enjoy. And by doing so contribute to reducing the gender exercise gap.

Closing the gender exercise gap
Our vision is a world where women of all backgrounds and fitness levels find joy and fulfilment through movement. We strive to create a supportive and inclusive community where women can connect, motivate, and uplift each other, transforming exercise from a solitary endeavor into a shared celebration of well-being.
Community-centric approach
Our app's core essence lies in the power of community and the belief that social connections are pivotal in maintaining motivation, enthusiasm, and consistency in physical activities. We are committed to fostering a supportive ecosystem where women can freely share their experiences, struggles, achievements, and find comfort and inspiration in each other.
Customized matching
Using intelligent algorithms, the app will connect users with others nearby who share similar interests, goals, or challenges, creating meaningful connections and common ground for discussions.
User-Generated Social Feeds
Empowering users to contribute to the community, they can create and participate in social feeds on various themes, facilitating conversations, offering fitness tips, organizing meetups, and exchanging kudos for each other's accomplishments.
One-on-One Chats
Users can engage in private, one-to-one conversations with their matched connections, fostering deeper friendships and more personalized support.
Events and Meetups
The app will feature a calendar of local events and meetups, where women can join together for group activities, workouts, classes, or outdoor adventures, further enhancing the sense of community and shared experiences.
In 2023 study on over 16k women worldwide by Asics over half of women in the sample (51%) said they were dissatisfied with their current exercise levels and wanted to do more.
