Oxy’Zen, purer cabin air for city drivers
During the 15th edition of Auto China 2018, Valeo lifted the veil in Beijing on innovative solutions to improve the air quality inside car cabins.
Connected to sensors that analyze the air quality inside and outside, Valeo’s air purifier conveys the information in real time via a human-machine interface (HMI) and adapts the air in the cabin accordingly and effectively. Hay fever sufferers will appreciate the fact that they can also neutralize up to 96% of pollen allergens. For extra comfort, Valeo’s high-performance ionizer cleans and deodorizes the cabin while its AquAIRius mister instantly refreshes rear passengers.
Calculate the best route in terms of air quality
Valeo has developed an application called “Clean Road” that can calculate the best route in terms of air quality. It takes into account the number of miles to be traveled, the time it will take and the air quality along the way. Using vehicle-to-cloud connectivity, an algorithm works in real-time to refine its knowledge of the data collected (real-time information from the vehicle’s sensors and public data) to calculate the cleanest route.
